1 worldview, 2 events, 30 prompts.
SKY×CROSSING is an art challenge inspired by Pixiv Fantasia, Art Fight, and monthly prompt challenges like Inktober, OCtober, etc. held for all of April, exclusively on the social media platform Bluesky. Created with the intention to provide a collaborative space for OC creators to gather and interact.
The three main components that make up SKY×CROSSING are:
1. The Worldview
A world will be decided upon for OCs to inhabit and interact in. An ongoing, main conflict between two sides sets the characters apart.
※There is no actual winner/loser. It's merely a premise and the real reward is the friends you make along the way.
2. Events
There will be two "events" declared that reveal a plot twist, a change in situation or some kind of revelation related to the worldview.
3. Prompts
30 prompts for creators to get inspired and build upon, whether together or solo.

Worldview
Blue Skies VS Red Seas
Welcome to the world of Phantasky
Original characters are cast in the world of Phantasky, where azure blue skies and crimson red seas stretch across the horizon.
The two are at arms, fighting for supremacy over one another.
A fantasy world that pays homage to the platform, Bluesky, and the inspirations for this project.

An underwater metropolis sits on the ocean floor, bathed in scarlet light. The deeper you go, the darker it gets, resembling a city of eternal night. Individualists, Machiavellians, transgressors... They say those who couldn't fit into the ways of the skies dwell here.

Generally, the more patriotic one is, the more of their faction's colour they will wear.

Feel free to make multiple OCs for either side but one OC cannot be aligned to both sides at the same time.

Eg. A winged being could be living in the seas or a marine animal in the skies etc. Get creative!

Blue Skies

Citizens are typically full of vim and vigour, possessing a sense of justice and camaraderie. They know that teamwork makes the dream work—and maintains the peace. Spread your wings and fly high, someone will have your back!
Common species tend to be:

Winged beings; fairies, angels, avians, anything capable of flight

Mammals, or land creatures in general
Signature colours consist of shades of whites, blues, and generally light hues.
【SIDE:RED】
Red Seas
Citizens are typically enigmatic, resourceful and unconventional in their way of thinking. Rules and morals don't exist down here—everything is on the table for negotiation. Those who dwell here survive on their wits and connection network; it's sink or swim.
Common species tend to be:

Anything marine, related to the sea, or that would inhabit bodies of water

Ghastly, nightmarish beings; insects, the undead
Signature colours consist of shades of blacks, reds, and generally dark hues.
